Current Systems / Accountability across the commercial system
Homebridge Growth Engine
Advertising could create activity. It could not, by itself, create productive and accountable growth.
What was supposed to become true?
Make efficient growth possible across the complete commercial system—not simply improve one acquisition channel.
A producer proof
A successful configuration becomes a durable economic event.
- 01Configuration completedThe shopper flow remains independent.
- 02Canonical eventOnly the minimum operational context travels.
- 03Durable outboxDelivery can recover without losing the event.
- 04Authenticated dispatchRetries and permanent rejection remain explicit.
The conditions
Homebridge began as a generalized marketing engagement. The objective was productive, efficient growth. As the work moved closer to the business, the limiting factor stopped being the advertisement and became the set of relationships surrounding every commercial event.
A lead could arrive without durable source context. Ownership could become ambiguous. Proposals, CRM records and commerce events could describe different versions of the same opportunity. Follow-up could depend on memory. Advertising was only the visible edge of a larger operating problem.
The useful unit was not the campaign. It was the complete commercial event: how it entered, who owned it, what changed, which system recorded the change and what action should follow.
What had to exist
Growth Engine is designed to connect acquisition, event architecture, identity, attribution, ownership, proposals, CRM state, commerce, reconciliation and exception handling. The first completed proof makes a successful product configuration durable and ready for authenticated delivery.
- 01
Turn a completed product configuration into a canonical, privacy-minimized economic event.
- 02
Preserve source context as an opportunity changes hands and state.
- 03
Assign ownership and make the next responsible action visible.
- 04
Reconcile proposal, CRM and commerce outcomes instead of trusting one interface.
- 05
Dispatch through an authenticated outbox with idempotency, retry and permanent-rejection handling.
David’s role
David identified that the agreed growth objective required infrastructure beyond advertising, then worked across architecture, marketing technology, workflow design, implementation and operating policy to construct it.
